Waikiki Churches?

What are the options for church-goers on vacation staying in Waikiki? Which is better for whom?

Thanks! :church::desert_island:

There is the Catholic Church in Waikiki, and there is One Love Ministries in Honolulu near Kako Ako Park which is my favorite in my opinion because its very community based centered in Christ and what the word teaches not like a cult or anything. Service is Saturday Nights at 7PM and Sunday mornings at 8 and 10:30AM. Adress is 670 Auahi St A5 Honolulu HI 96813. Any questions please feel free to ask me.

If you’re in Waikiki for just One Sunday? Let me entertain it :wink: I’ll give you 3 churches that’ll quench your thirst.

For those wanting a deep message…Pastor Alex Michel of New Hope Town (1120 Nehoa Street) brings it every Sunday. No watered down gospel here.

If you’re partial to Worship…NOTHING will top Impact Fellowship @ Ward Theater. Strong worship team that have been playing for years together. No shame in arm raising among this congregation.

As far as community/connection, my man Austin above is on point. If you’re looking to rub shoulders this week and find likeminded people… No church has a larger, more diverse demographic including (but not limited to): baristas, military, locals, youth, young adults, street outreaches, ‘55 and Alive’?? Nuff’ said here at One Love (670 Auahi st)

Moiliili Hongwanji Buddhist Temple is a very friendly Buddhist temple that is located at 902 University Ave, Honolulu, HI 96826. Services on Sundays at 9 am. We find boundless joy in the Buddha’s Dharma.
