Aloha!

I believe that there are a lot of things to do with kids in Waikiki! I am a local with two boys, and we regularly visit Waikiki because of all the great family things to do!

I love taking my boys to the Honolulu Zoo, and the Aquarium, since it’s so close together.

Another great place nearby to have a picnic lunch is Kapiolani Park. It’s scenic, peaceful, and just great for kids to run and laugh and play.

The beaches in Waikiki are fun, and mellow enough for little toddlers with water wings. I love Waikiki Walls because the wall blocks any kind of current and rough waves.

There are also great places to eat, and the shopping is incredible! Stores and shopping centers fill the town, and you can find anything from high end boutiques, to the ABC store. The ABC store is great for snacks, drinks, and last minute items that you need, like sunscreen.

There are treasures in every corner. Families NEED to visit Waikiki when coming to visit.

@Jolene_K_Yee,

Have you taken your boys to the zoo’s evening event or do you know about it? Supposedly they do something different during the evenings. Thx!

Take the kids to Banan right next to Waikiki Beach. It’s “healthy” ice cream made from bananas!
