The Diamond Head Summit trail hike is likely the most popular hike in Oahu, and for good reason. While fairly steep, this easy paved hike starts from the middle of the Diamond Head volcanic crater and climbs about 500 feet up the side. There is a 300 step staircase that is the most difficult part of the hike. However, once conquered there is a beautiful panoramic views which await your summit.
It is always good to bring AT LEAST 20oz. of water with you during your hike. Also, be sure to have good running shoes or boots while you make the journey. There are several tours that offer guided hikes for diamond head including a local guide whos links are below.
